Lovett Deconstruction helped us remove the last layer of siding from our house earlier this week. We're upgrading the wiring—it's great to have ample outlets now on the main floor!—and as soon as that's finished we'll insulate and put up sheathing.

We have these 4 tapered cedar columns, which I made for our wedding in Laurelhurst park, waiting to be incorporated in our new house somehow.... but how? Could they decorate the posts that will support our balcony roof?

The one on the left is 7' tall, almost exactly the height we need, and it tapers about 2" from bottom to top.
