We are so fortunate - to be welcoming a new member into our family, and to count all of you among our family, already! These things are among our greatest gifts.

In terms of gifts to welcome the little one into the world, we'd love most to have your participation and support as we become parents.

A friend's sister, visiting from Switzerland, stayed in our house while we were away for the winter holidays. She got to enjoy unusual winter storms: deeps snows that lasted for weeks!

As you can see, we've not had much need for blogging these past 8 months. Summer was lovely: we attended a couple weddings with family & friends, and visited friends we'd not seen for many years.... and also a few new friends we met in our earlier honeymoon travels.
